3.1. Profiles

A profile is what you use to store information about a specific server. These include the server's IP address, port, your user name, a password and a default channel. You must create a profile in order to connect to a server. You can manipulate profiles on the screen when you first start Imptalk™. Profiles cannot be modified while connected. You can view profiles while connected by pressing the Profile() icon on the Dock. See Getting Started for instructions on creating a profile.
